Coaching Opportunity - Senior Woman's Strathclyde League Coach
Position: Senior Women’s Head Coach (Strathclyde League)
Hours (per week): 4-6 (Varied depending on games)
Salary: Travel expenses covered
Report to: Club Development Officer
Contract: Season 2014-15
Details about the position

To coordinate and deliver high quality basketball coaching to ensure the players within the club improve.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

To deliver coaching sessions that are player-centred, structured, progressive, fun and of high quality.

To undertake the necessary planning for each session to ensure the programme demonstrates progression throughout and is linked to the principles of long-term player development (LTPD).

To continually monitor and evaluate all sessions and games.

To undertake administrative tasks associated with the post, including planning sessions, taking registers, consent forms, and liaising with the CDO.

To be a positive role model at all times.

To respect the rights of all participants and ensure that their well-being and safety are considered at all times.

This post will involve some evening and weekend work.

A level 2 coaching qualification in basketball is desired for this position.
