Awards Night 2016

The annual Colliers awards night is always a fantastic event and one which brings the whole club together to celebrate success. In the name of basketball, almost 200 people packed the Kings Park hotel for an evening of awards, great raffle prizes and dancing (although there was no dance off this year!!).

We would like to thank everyone who attended the awards night for coming along and supporting the club. We would also like to thank everyone who donated something for our raffle, which once again was packed with some amazing prizes.

The Collier of the Year award went to Chris Curle for his overall assistance with the club. Chris has played, coached, tabled and refereed for many games this past season. Many games he showed up at short notice to fill in for call offs which allowed the games to go ahead.

Each coach got up and spoke about how their team performed over the last season and announced their awards.

The awards presented to players were, MVP, Defensive player of the year and Most improved from under 10s to senior’s members.
