This was the Colliers first real test facing Glasgow Storm who also play in the Scottish National League which the Colliers proved they were up to the challenge despite a close loss.

 

The closely matched teams traded baskets throughout the game with both teams taking the lead back and fourth.

 

Scott Russell did a great job keeping the scoring high for the Colliers however in the 4th quarter as two starters fouled out the Colliers defence took a hard knock.

 

The game came down to a final basket to decide which Storm edged and won the game.
