This game resulted in a convincing team win for the Colliers who dominated every quarter of the game. The first half started well, with the Colliers adapting to playing against zone defence and quickly finding the open players.

 

The half time score was 26-18 but the Colliers came out strong in the third quarter, winning it 21-4. This shows a great defensive effort by the team, who also only allowed 4 points in the first quarter. Joyce Carey's shooting was on form from the start of the game and SPRA's zone allowed us to take advantage of this, while Jen Lynn and Kara Gough again worked very hard inside.

 

Young players Niamh Shannon and Claire Brunton also played very well in offence, making lots of useful cuts and passes. Overall, the whole team again worked very well together and all contributed to this win, with 8 players getting onto the scoresheet and everyone contributing through rebounds, assists and defense.
