Colliers started a bit nervous offensively but very strong defensively leading the opponent to turnovers. After the fourth minute the fast breaks led to easy baskets seeing the Colliers finishing with an impressive 17 – 6 to the end of the first period.

 

In the second quarter the team had a great rhythm with Alexander Blair scoring two 3 pointer's and Andrew Lamb adding one. The score at the half ended 40 – 15 in Colliers favour.

 

Colliers started the 3rd quarter with Chris Duncan being unstoppable offensively and scoring 10 points in a row.

 

The 4th quarter saw a strong performance from both sides of the court as the cadet men finished the game with a final score of 69 – 43.

 

Head Coach Maria Vasilaki commnented: "A special mention needs to be made to every single player for their amazing effort in the defensive end that gave us the energy for the offence. Overall it was a great performance from the team and all the hard work and commitment the players are putting in is starting to show." 

 

Top scorers on the day were Calum Alexander with 27 points, followed by Chris Duncan with 26 and added Alexander Blair 12.
