Colliers make it to Anderson Cup final
April 27th, 2014
The 27th of April saw the Colliers division 1 men and club as a whole reach their first Cup Final at Bellahouston sports centre, Glasgow against Glasgow Storm. The game was due to be a great clash with each team winning a game each against each other in the regular season.
Collier Div 1 beat Tornadoes in Semi
April 14th, 2014
The build up to the game became intense with the semi final bringing in the biggest crowd of the year so far. Colliers won the tip off and immediately went to work playing great team offence getting everyone involved leading to a winning first quarter 18-11.
Hard fought win away at Oatlands
March 25th, 2014
For the home team playing out of Notre Dame High School in Glasgow’s West it was the last game of the season, which they clearly aimed to go out with a win. The Colliers came out red-hot playing tough defence and all of the starting five players scoring multiple times leading the first quarter 26-18.

The Colliers started off very poor and in fact found it hard to get out the hole they dug losing the first quarter 16-7.
Troon dominated the game by out rebounding the Colliers on just about every missed shot, this led to second and third attempt shots for Troon, which saw the Colliers, fall further behind.

First home game success against Falcons

It was the first home game of the season for the Collier Division 1 Men at the Alistair McCoist Complex East Kilbride facing the North Lanarkshire Falcons.
The Colliers dominated the game from the tip off scoring 10 unanswered points producing a convincing first quarter finishing 17-7.

7 South Lanarkshire Collier’s players travelled to Scotstoun Leisure Centre for the season opener to face Glasgow University basketball club. Right from the jump ball the Collier men controlled the tempo of the game with tough defence and patient offence.
